Очень серьёзным фактором стал ветер, который дул в течение всех дней тренировок, а во время соревнований раздул воду до волны выше лобового стекла катера. Этот сезон вообще выдался ветреным. В таких условиях сенсорика удилища крайне важна. Даже небольшой дискомфорт от удочки – и о ловле на волне в ветер можно забыть. В этой ситуации качества Mescalito оказались очень кстати.

Щука плохо засеклась. Кто знает сызранских «мамок», не даст соврать, насколько они бодрые и спортивные. Чуть зазеваешься – и она тут же даст дёру из подсака или аэратора, а на вываживании при своём весе и силе устраивает потрясающий по накалу бой. Вываживание затянулось. Так мягко и слаженно с удочкой я ещё не работал. Фрикцион, удочка и рука – как одно целое. Как только щука окунулась в подсак и расправилось удилище, крючок сразу выпал. Отличная работа модели 728М на вываживании позволила нам взять эту трофейную рыбу в туре.
